notes

the interactive medium is fascinating as it straddles the difficult line between learning and entertainment.

the essay takes on a difficult subject and does a great job given the constraints of time. it's strength is in the showcase of web APIs and manipulating sound.

ultimately, i think quizzes, more chapters and deeper open ended experiences would be needed to solidify what is being taught. yet, for the space it takes, so much definitely gets accomplished.

i look forward to reading their many other takes on subjects, next up: bikes!
