i love these series of explanations.
i don't love that they are focused on misconceptions by programmers as they likely are misunderstood by many other groups. (but i understand that many of them are focused on those programming...)
what i like the most is just all the non-standard non-obvious things you learn about how the world really works.
the fact that even within a city you can't guarantee a single time zone just lays it all bare: make assumptions but don't assume them to be always true.
