if i only had two words: dr. manhattan
if i had a few more, i would reflect on how so much of the characters, themes and plots have withstood the test of time. even with the interwoven pirate story within a story and the many other asides, distributed througout the series. as i look back, those asides helped complete a world that enveloped me.
