summary
In the graphic novel "The Moth Keeper," Anya has always wanted to be a Moth Keeper, but not everything is as it seems. In order to make sure the lunar moths that allow the Night-Lily flower to bloom are safe, Anya must spend her nights in the desert where it's just her and one lantern for light. Anya is eager to prove her worth and show her gratitude to her friends and village, but when she finds out that protecting the moths comes with a steep cost, she's left figuring out if it's all worth it. K. O'Neill's beautiful illustrations and intricate world-building bring Anya's coming of age story to life in a way that is both magical and hopeful. Fans of Hayao Miyazaki and Witch Hat Atelier won't want to miss The Moth Keeper.
