this blog makes it clear that (a) unchecked power and (b) a lack of planning / investment / roadmapping are one way to NOT go about it.

this approach likely has put a price tag of hurt that could very well outstrip any advantages we as a society would get in the future.

Stonemaier Games is joining a lawsuit to challenge the President’s unchecked authority to impose tariffs. The company faces $1.5 million in tariff payments due to the new norm of a 145% tariff imposed by the President on all exports from China to the US. They are also selling to other countries, storing US quantities in China, and sending out-of-stock US quantities to the US.
