summary

In a world where the toxic and uninhabitable wasteland outside demands gas masks and complete isolation for survival, humanity has retreated underground in a gigantic Silo with more than one hundred floors. With each floor having its own purpose, the inhabitants have everything necessary for survival - food, water, electricity, and protection – except for what everybody wants, and everybody needs: freedom. After the abrupt death of Silo's sheriff, Juliette, the mechanic, is chosen to replace him. She soon realizes there’s more to the secrets beneath the silo she calls home, and all of them have a story to tell. An uprising is brewing, and truth-seeking rebels may just have a chance to save what's left of humanity. Wool is an electrifying exploration of the human struggle to survive a harsh and dangerous world, and the lengths we are willing to go to protect the people and values we cherish.
