Avani is struggling to fit in after moving to a new town. She is most certainly not interested in the Flower Scouts troop that is all about makeup and boys. So when she accidentally gets abducted by a fun and spunky alien named Mabel, Avani finally gets the chance to experience adventure and fun. Mabel is a Star Scout and in their world, collecting alien specimens is just a part of a larger picture that includes teleportation and jetpack racing. As she becomes a Star Scout, Avani discovers a place where she feels like she belongs. But surviving Camp Andromeda and keeping her dad from discovering that she's not on Earth is a whole new challenge.
